Selvedge uncurler LA 8..., with motor-driven scroll rollers, is used to
smooth out the curled up/under edges of knitted fabrics or the folds
on woven fabrics. This assures that the web is spread to its full width
and web travel is smooth. As the scroll rollers rotate in the opposite
direction to that of web travel, the smoothing effect is independent of
the web speed.
