Electronic Invoice/eInvoice/e-Invoice (eInv) Explanation: This refers to the Brazilian system being implanted, in which invoices are generated online, thus giving real-time information to tax authorities. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 5 hrs (2013-10-17 16:00:20 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Hi Neil, that's definitely not it! Brazil is gradually moving all companies onto digital sales documents. That way the tax man has 100% information on taxes generated - no-one escapes! When we buy over the internet here, the e-Invoice comes by e-mail, as well as accompanying the goods by road, as the law requires. The e-mail version comes as an XML file and also a PDF file. If you want to see one, just let me know. https://www.virtuallythere.com/new/helpController.html?action=einvoice Reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E-invoicing |
