I don't really believe you're in it for the points, I've benefited from Freekfluweel's advice often enough. As for simultaneous suggestions, the timer posts Freekfluweel's suggestion 5 minutes prior to yours, Yorkshireman. I don't know, I wasn't there at the time. The priority here is, of course, to assist colleagues, no doubt about it! Maybe I should have just kept my mouth shut? (Don't answer that, Mr. O.)

I posted my answer before HMcC disc. post entered the box. I'm not here for the points as many of my Dutch peers can confirm. I was just a bit fed up with writeaway (and I am not the only one who is doubting his true reason for his presence in several fora)

I was particularly surprised by the knee-jerk reactions of simultaneous posters - re points on this matter, I quote Rhett Butler "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn". It seems to me that trying to help a fellow translator seems to have a lower priority than winning points.

Welcome to kudoz! You've got a stickler to start with as the suggestions from both of our eager beavers is based on simultaneous spelling correction in the discussion. What to do? Had you noticed the spelling error, it would have been obvious what the translation should be. Risking a bat bogey curse from both of my honored colleagues, and possible excommunication from the kudoz community at large, I suggest you close this question without grading as there is no fair way to distribute the points. I hope your next kudoz question is more peaceful.
