secrétariat-greffe (court registry) Explanation: I looked on the net for recours "par LR au SG" and most of the references involved the Conseil des prud'hommes. Instructions for how to lodge your appeal did seem to involve lettres récommandées lodged with the "greffe", so I think you're right with the LR, and the G seemed like it could be "greffe". The below from a sit for the Toulouse conseil seems to solve the mystery of the "S": "Démarches à accomplir pour saisir les prud'hommes: Vous devez déposer une demande par *lettre recommandée* au *secrétariat-greffe* du Conseil de Prud'hommes compétent."
