Because herbicide carryover is primarily an issue with agronomic crops grown from seed, many herbicide labels provide a PLANT BACK RESTRICTION. This is the time period that must pass before planting a specific crop after herbicide application. Plant back restrictions vary for each unique combination of herbicide and crop.
