Najlepiej poznanym i uznanym za bezpieczny lekiem stosowanym w ciąży jest XXX.

Chodzi o leki przeciwdepresyjne. Powyżej autor zaznacza, że takich leków nie "bada się" na kobietach ciężarnych ze względów etycznych (stąd nie pasuje mi researched/studied) i poznajemy ich działanie na ciążę i płód jedynie dzięki ich stosowaniu, gdy zajdzie taka potrzeba.
Nie wiem jak to ugryźć, a niby takie proste :)

Użycie "recognised" byłoby błędem, ponieważ oznacza to "rozpoznany", czyli ponownie zidentyfikowany. "Most recognised" sugerowałoby, że jest najbardziej rozpoznawalnym lekiem.

"To cognise" jest synonimem czasownika "to know" jednak powoli wychodzi z użytku na rzecz błędnie używanego "recognise".

Również "procesy poznawcze" to "cognition".

Asker: Nie wiem czy kiedykolwiek widziałam cognised w podobnym kontekście. Dla mnie brzmi bardziej filozoficznie niż naukowo. Cognition, czy procesy poznawcze, to też coś innego niż zdobycie informacji na jakiś temat. Jednak zgadzam się, że recognize byłoby błędem.
