Spanish term or phrase: sólo se habilitó la hoja de vida de Mr. X
Se presentaron 4 hojas de vida y "solo se habilitó la hoja de vida de Mr. X." A esta persona se le entrevistó y se seleccionó.

only Mr. X's résumé was approved
Explanation:
If the translation is for the UK or Ireland, "CV" should be used instead of "résumé". The latter (a French loan-word) should be written with accents (as in the Merriam-Webster dictionary, for example); many people omit them, but without them it can be confused with the verb "resume".

For "habilitar", I think "approve" is an appropriate word in this case:

"You will receive a reply stating whether the resume was approved or disapproved, typically within 72 hours of submission."

"However, this means you have passed the first filter; your resume was approved and intrigued the employer."

Se me olvidó aclarar el sentido de "hoja de vida", por si hubiera alguna duda:

"Hoja de vida es la forma en la que se conoce al Currículum Vitae en determinadas regiones, especialmente de Latinoamérica. Esta diferenciación es puramente denominativa, ya que a nivel formal y de contenidos, la hoja de vida es exactamente igual al currículum vitae."

only Mr.X's labour history was provided

Explanation:
la hoja de vida se refiere a la hoja de vida laboral, es un resúmen emitido por la Seguridad Social con la información chronológica de donde has estado trabajando y los datos de tus cotizaciones a la S.Social en cada puesto de trabajo, no es un curriculum
habilitar es "make available".....o proporcionar...entre otras acepciones de esta palabra según en qué contexto
