Der Klinik und Poliklinik für Orthopädie und Unfallchirurgie der Uniklinik Bonn setzt seit 2012 das Planungsprogramm XXX erfolgreich ein. Die digitale Planung optimiert insbesondere bei der Revisionsprothetik die Behandlungsqualität und ist eine wesentliche Grundlage für die Zertifizierung. Das Programm wurde von der YYY für orthopädische Chirurgen und Kliniken entwickelt.
Die Revisionsprothetik ist einer der Schwerpunkte dieses Instituts. Jährlich werden etwa 600 Knie- und Hüftprothesen eingesetzt, der Anteil der komplexen Wechselendoprothetik beträgt ca. 50 %. Zur Planung und Dokumentation wird seit 2012 die orthopädische Planungslösung XXX verwendet. Es handelt sich um eine CAD-Software, mittels derer Implantate und zugehörige Komponenten über die Radiologiebilder gelegt werden können. Grundlage ist eine Implantat-Datenbank, die die Artikel von 90 Herstellern enthält. Damit kann beispielsweise bei einer Hüftoperation eine geeignete Pfannen-/Schaftkombination effizient am Bildschirm geplant werden. Dies ist auch für Wechseleingriffe möglich. Speziell bei Knieprothesen ist die präoperative Planung anhand der kompletten Beinachsen sehr genau.
