Pre 1 Explanation: It would help to have more context but it looks like this is a spirometry table showing pulmonary function test results before and after using theophylline, an oral bronchodilator. The CVF, VEMS and VEMS/CVF refer to FVC, FEV1 and FEV1/FVC respectively. The values under the Theo header should be higher than the corresponding values under the Pre 1 header if the patient is asthmatic. The % Theo numbers should be the ratio Theo/Pre in percent. The "1" may refer to pre number 1 or the best pre. (Pre refers to the numbers before using the theophylline as in pre/post.) |
