Hi everyone! I'm translating a summary of events for a TV show on jangadas in Ceará. I'm not sure what term this refers to in English. Thanks for your help!

- As 4 da manhã do 2o. dia, antes do sol nascer, ela vestirá uma bermuda e blusa de manga comprida de algodão, boné ou chapéu de palha. Nos pés, chinelos de dedo ou nada. Filtro solar ou tecidos impermeáveis são tecnologias inexistentes para os pescadores da Caponga, que ficam sujeitos a enfermidades como câncer de pele. Ela se dirige à praia e se prepara para atuar como mestre e conduzir a jangada corretamente até alto mar. Com as ondas invadindo a embarcação, ela primeiro terá que utilizar um pesado remo de madeira, ***encaixar a bolina*** e ainda irá driblar o enjôo para se equilibrar entre a popa e a proa e aprumar a vela com o vento, controlando a velocidade e garantindo que a embarcação não vire. Qualquer erro pode ocasionar o rompimento do mastro ou da vela, deixando-os em sérias dificuldades.
