I wtedy podaje się się np. 5:1 albo 5x, a dodatkowo w nawiasie (10 - 50 mm), aby klient miał komplet informacji o ogniskowej. Poza tym dodaje się zakres zmian jasności obiektywu, np. 1:2,9 - 6,5.
