The XXXX Instrumentation and Control (I&C) System is the term encompassing all hardware and software required to operate XXXX. It has two coarse levels of hierarchy; the Central I&C Systems and the Plant Systems I&C, marked in green colour in the diagram presented in Figure 1. The Central I&C Systems are “in-fund”, i.e. procured by XXXX International Organization, while Plant Systems I&C are “in-kind”, i.e. procured by the seven XXXX Domestic Agencies. It is currently estimated there will be 220 Plant Systems I&C with associated sensors and actuators.

Asker: Wiem, ale właśnie - w tym kontekście żadna z opcji w stylu "rzeczowy", "w naturze", itd. mi nie pasuje. Te systemy są o tyle "rzeczowe", o ile dotyczą "fizycznie" każdej z Agencji Wewnętrznych. Ale jak się to ma do "in-fund" i jak przetłumaczyć - wciąż myślę :) Dzięki za starania.
