This shows up in an insurance report for a car that caught fire in an underground parking garage. "Principe reparatoire" also appears in the same section, and I am curious if they are referring to the same thing, but I will post it separately so as not to violate KudoZ policies.

It seems to me that it is referring to the method of repair that has been chosen, but I am wondering if there is a specific term for this in English.
