Government / Politics / Public service units in Minas Gerais
Portuguese term or phrase: a senha, a cor da senha
This text is a transcription of a panel discussion about the service being provided by the public service units (Unidades de Atendimento Integrado - UAIs) in Minas Gerais. 'Password' doesn't make any sense at all. Since this is a transcription, I'm wondering if the transcriber made a mistake. Can anyone think what it's supposed to be? Thanks in advance!

(By the way, for speakers of Mineiro Portuguese, the panel speakers explain that the UAI abbreviation was adopted intentionally.)

É assim... eu achei que melhorou bastante hoje em questão de organização, atendimento, **a senha, a cor da senha**. Achei um pouco demorado, mas é pelo volume de gente. Achei que melhorou bastante.

Explanation:
That piece of paper you receive for example in a bank so you can sit down while you wait, and maybe even leave the bank and come back shortly after.

Maybe those tickets come in different colors depending on what kind of service you're waiting for.

the number, the color of your number

Explanation:
or 'the stub, the color of your stub'

The color refers to different windows and/or priority; thus different windows with different colors are going through different series of numbers, hence the different color senhas, or number stubs. As in 'Take a number!'

'Senha' here is the little piece of paper that you grab as soon as you walk in the door to reserve your place in line. Then, when you see your number isn't going to come up for an hour, you go grab some breakfast or attend to other business down the road.
