Für die "adoption on hospital protocols" kann ich mir nur vorstellen, dass damit die Aufnahme des Medikaments in den Verordnungs-/Verschreibungskatalog gemeint sein könnte (den aber m. E. nicht jedes Krankenhaus für sich aufstellen kann). Daher vielleicht etwas abgewandelt "Aufnahme in die Verordnungspraxis/das Verordnungsregime der Krankenhäuser"?

Asker: Mit dem Prüfplan/einer Studie hat das meiner Meinung nach nichts zu tun: "However, "regulatory approval is only the first step in the process" and reimbursement, formulary acceptance and adoption on hospital protocols takes a long time." Ich frage mich nur, ob es hierfür (hospital protocols) einen speziellen Ausdruck gibt.
