Any of various lively dances in triple time. no entanto, li a canção infantil inteira, e não me parece que o significado seja dança (mais à frente, temos "jiggety-JOG"). Como verbo, dá este significado: To move or bob up and down jerkily and rapidly. "Jiggety" quereria dizer algo como "animadamente" ou "freneticamente", e "jig" neste contexto parece-me "saltitar".
