I have called this below just heap (as in rock heap) but not totally sure and that's for terril but not sure of terri, help much appreciated thanks, for a mining agreement as below.

Explanation:
It would appear that "terri" is synonymous with "terril". Dictionary definitions for "terril" are waste heap (as you suggested) or dump or tip. I originate from a coal mining community where it was called a "tip" (pit tip).
