Explanation:
A very commonly used term for this is simply en jean, where the EN word for the garment has become used as the FR word for the fabric (which is after all originally a FR word: 'serge de Nîmes'!)

I have never seen it specifically qualified as 'blue' (which seems to be regarded as its default colour), though I have seen it qualified with other colours where appropriate.

Anyone else believe as I do that the blue colour came originally from the use of woad as a dye, given that woad (guède) was for centuries one of the major cash crops in Provence?

Some 4 million Ghits, not all of them relevant, for garments 'en jean' — and plenty of images to confirm that it does indeed include the traditional 'blue jeans' colour.
