А вот Янгон и в самом деле культурная столица Бирмы. Именно здесь ее наиглавнейший духовный символ - храм Шведагон. Да и история страны тесно связана именно с этим городом – большим, ***шумным и многоликим***. Хотя по началу тебе кажется, что где-то ты это уже видел. Может, в Индии. Или - во Вьетнаме. Такое же столпотворение на дорогах, обилие лавочек и лавчонок. Суета, пыль и жара даже в декабре…

Explanation:
Obviously the choices of adjectives are myriad, but I would avoid "bustling" because you'll need "bustle" it for "суета" a couple of lines later. I like the literal "loud" for "шумный". "Noisy" would be OK, although it's a bit negative and I don't think your description is. I think "diverse" sounds like a sociological study, so as an alternative I'd propose "motley".
