Traducendo delle istruzioni per creare delle candele fai-da-te, trovo:

"Measure out the correct amount of wax and melt in saucepan. Add colour dye and when evenly mixed pour wax into mould. After one minute gently tap the sides of the mould to release any air bubbles. As soon as the surface of the wax begins to solidify prick a hole into it with the ***wicking needle***, this will prevent distortion as the candle cools. Do this every 15 minutes throughout the cooling process. After two hours reheat the wax and top up the well but do not top up above the original level. Leave to set for at least another hour."

Nella traduzione francese del documento è stato reso con "aiguille à mèche". Per il momento ho tradotto con "ago dello stoppino", ma non ne sono sicura al 100%? Voi che ne pensate?
