Hello.
I'm stumped by this expression and under pressure to deliver my document so I would very much apprecite any help. It appears in a deed of sale for a property, and relates to the vendor's pre-emptive right to bid for the property if it is sold on at a later date:
"Si une adjudication intervient, le Vendeur aura un droit de préférence pour se porter adjudicataire aux mêmes conditions, charges, modalités et prix que le dernier enchérisseur. Il ne pourra exercer son droit qu’aussitôt après l’extinction du dernier feu et avant la clôture du procès-verbal."
