Hola compañeros:

Tengo un texto en el que me aparece bastante a menudo la palabra "statement". La traducción que estoy poniendo, "declaración" no me gusta nada para este contexto. ¿Qué opciones pondríais vosotros? ¿Cómo lo traduciríais?
(Ya sé que esta palabra aprece en el glosario de Kudoz, pero las propuestas que ve no me acaban de convencer... Muchas gracias).

Aquí os pongo un par de frases en las que aparece esa palabra:

- We chose one of our more complex 401 (k) statements.
- XYZ wanted to lower the overall complexity of document composition and make it easier to develop and modify the growing variety of personal communication statements they must manage.
- We produce a wide variety of personal communication statements.
- Benefits administration revolves around a number of important documents, 401(k) statements, pension calculation statements and enrollment documents are among the many personalized communications that support the process.

Explanation:
For example, for "personal communication statements" I would simply use "comunicaciones personales". For 401(k) statements and pension calculation statements I would use "información de 401(k) de cálculos de pensión. In other words, omit the word from the translation unless it is actually a "declaración" and when by ommitting it you are not leaving out anything important. Good luck!

Explanation:
No te digo nada nuevo si esta palabrita tiene muchas traducciones. Expones varias frases y no creo que en todos los casos la traducción deba ser la misma. Yo propongo en el caso de "communication statement" no traducirlo, es decir traducir sólo "communication".
Elaboramos una gran variedad de notificaciones personales.
Es una sugerencia.
