I am not sure of the best way of translating 'aporta escala' in this text. Do they mean 'increases returns to scale' or 'scales up' or simply 'increases scale'? I imagine 'ampliar su escala' would be 'increasing its scale' and 'escalar' could perhaps be 'scale up' but I'm not sure about 'aporta escala'.

Many thanks in advance!
