"...; further, the purchaser shall be obliged, at the vendor's choice, either to pay the balance outstanding immediately, subject to his becoming liable, or to assign the debt to... In whatever circumstances are begin described in the fuller picture, the vendor seems able to impose one of two options on the purchaser : - either he settles whatever is due (which means assuming liability) - or the purchaser assigns the debt. |
