The exact sentence is ' Concernant le choix de l’Orchestre à Cordes qui répondra aux Partitas Romanes à l’intérieur du programme, il s’agira de l’Orchestre à Cordes de l’Université National de *****.

I'm not an expert on classical music and I just want to confirm my instinct that 'répondre aux' is in the sense 'to meet the needs of', and not some technical term music for 'answering' (if this is the correct term!) another orchestra/quartet etc.
So far, I've put 'Regarding the choice of string orchestra for the Partitas Romanes in the programme'.

I would add the word "suitable" as the French is saying "choix de qui l'Orchestre à Cordes qui *conviendra* aux Partitas Romanes" (qui répondra aux = qui conviendra aux).

The Surprise Symphony is scored for a Classical-era orchestra consisting of two ... movement are very simple, they were a suitable choice for Ives's purpose

Or, the "concernant " can be dropped and "...orchestra who will perform the Partitas Romanes in the programme will be.. " keeping the ST future tense
