Уважаемые коллеги, может, кто-нибудь из вас встречал перевод элемента интерфейса Windows 8, который называется charms? Я пока написала "панель". Думаю, для моей инструкции это не жизненно важно, но все же интересно, как у нас это будет называться. Не чармами же, в самом деле (тогда уж лучше "чакрами" :-) ).

Контекст - инструкция к принтеру.

Windows 8
Select Desktop, Settings charm, and Control Panel. Them select Devices and Printers from the Hardware and Sound category.

Коллеги, ну откуда столько разногласий в таком простом вопросе?..

У Майкрософта есть своя официальная терминология, как на английском, так и на русском. То, что в обоих языках эти термины звучат несколько непривычно и немного по-детски, дела не меняет.

charm = чудо-кнопка
charms bar = панель чудо-кнопок
Settings charm = чудо-кнопка Параметры.
