This comes from the "Conclusions" submitted by the lawyers of YYY (a Swiss notary) in an appeal against a conviction made against him in respect of advice given by him to three foreigners (XXX) relating to the purchase of property in Switzerland. A literal translation of "civil reservations" does not somehow seem right to me.

"Vu ce qui précède, YYY a l’honneur de conclure, avec suite de frais et dépens, a ce qu’il plaise au Tribunal fédéral suisse prononcer :

l. Le recours est admis.

A. Principalement

II.L'arrêt cantonal est réformé en ce sens que le recours de YYY dirigé contre le jugement du Tribunal correctionnel de l’arrondissement de l’Est Vaudois est admis, et ce jugement réformé en ce sens que YYY est libéré de l'accusation d’infraction à l’article 29 LFAIE, qu’il n’est pas donné acte a XXX, de leurs réserves civiles à l’encontre de YYY et les conclusions civiles de ces derniers sont rejetées, il ne leur est pas alloué de dépens pénaux et les frais de la cause sont mis à la charge de l’Etat, des dépens de première et seconde instances étant alloués au recourant."
