Es geht um einen Vertrag, in dem unter anderem die Pflicht zum Abschluss einer Versicherung geregelt wird.

Nun habe ich mit folgendem Satz Probleme:

"This coverage shall be in force during the performance of a Work Order and for the greater of the expiration of the applicable statute of limitations ***where the Services under the Work Order are being performed*** or three (3) years after the completion of such Work Order."

So wie ich den Satz verstehe, muss die Versicherung für die Dauer der Auftragserfüllung abgeschlosssen werden und darüber hinaus entweder a) bis zum Ablauf der Verjährungsfrist b) bis zum Ablauf von drei Jahren nach Auftragsabschluss, je nachdem, welcher Zeitraum der längere ist.

Nicht anfangen kann ich jedoch mit dem Satzteil "where the Services under the Work Order are being performed".

so verstehe ich den Teil "where the services...", ansonsten liegst du m. E. genau richtig

..."Verjährungsfrist" natürlich, und der gerade erst gesehene, von LegalTrans vorgeschlagene "Erfüllungsort" ist natürlich noch treffender...

Asker: ja, seh ich jetzt auch so. Ich hatte mich darin verbissen, dass "where" hier nicht örtlich, sondern konditional (insofern) zu verstehen ist und kam dann natürlich nicht weiter.
