the Unit's Technical Responsibility/Liability Register/Record Explanation: As the document is to be obtained FROM the professional bodies, it must be OF the Unit. This can be made very clear by using the genitive construction as above. |

Registration as Technical Officer of Record for the unit Explanation: The person is also known as Professional [Engineer/Architect etc] in Responsible Charge. Those Regional Councils (such as the CREA) have a lot of authority. in Brazil, the CREA, of which all engineers and architects must be members, creates an “acervo técnico for each member. After completing a job, an engineer writes an ART – anotação de responsabilidade técnica – gives it to CREA, and the whole list of these becomes his “acervo técnico.” A member may grant the “direito de uso do acervo técnico” as if it were a copyright. |
