I know a bund is a retaining structure for liquids but have never seen this term applied to conveyors.
I would appreciate any help with this.

The link below explains that a bund can be an area under a tank which contains the contents of the tank in case of leakage. I suspect, from the context, that the "conveyor bund" is an area under the conveyor to catch any spillage from it. And that this area can be washed with service water.
