agree  Nikki Scott-Despaigne: This is the terminology I am more familiar with (UK) from my experience in merchant shipping and more generally, down to small parcels. However, "delivery exceptions" seems to be gaining ground, with regard to smaller units at least, see UPS and FedEx.
