agree  Daryo: but "storage space sizes" that are needed / required to store these products. As a comparison, the "gabarit" of a vehicle is the "size/space requirement" to get the vehicle through a tunnel, or to park it.

  -> Thanks Daryo. Yes, there are gabarits and gabarits and this isn't that of a vehicle or tunnel.
agree  Mary Holihan: Don't see why it has to be plural, however. I think "recommend the size of the required storage space" would work.

  -> Thanks Mary. The following: "préconisation dans le choix du gabarit de stockage" makes it clear that it is a recommendation from a range of pre-set sizes. That needs to be retained in the translation.
