There are two schemes currently offering support with accommodation costs for students: the Residential Bursary Fund and the Residential Support Scheme.

The Residential Bursary Fund is intended to provide financial support towards the costs of accommodation for young people attending one of the 43 designated providers of specialist provision, where their course requires a residential element.
The Residential Bursary Fund should be used to help young people with the costs of accommodation, whether owned or managed by the designated provider or private accommodation.

Todos os estudantes, franceses ou estrangeiros, têm direito a um auxílio-moradia. O auxílio corresponde a um desconto no valor do aluguel e deve ser solicitado na França junto às Caisses d 'Allocations Familiales. Para solicitar o auxílio moradia, é necessário que o estudante esteja residindo legalmente na França e esteja regularmente inscrito em uma instituição de ensino superior, além de já possuir uma residência fixa no país.
