cabin cruiser

Explanation:
motor boats with a small cabin, whatever the shape and size, whether you can sleep in them or not, seem to be lumped under the name "cabin cruiser" (cf. Google images)

if you look at Raider's website, you'll see how they make it more interesting (cuddy, wheelhouse, pilot house, etc.)

indeed the OED does say "a cruiser with a cabin for living in" but their example dates from 1921

judging from the web, usage has moved on

if your boat has got a bunk...

oh well, the French is a ghastly abuse of language anyway

if "misainier" comes from "misaine" and "thonier" from "thon", then surely they should be talking about a "timoniéier"!

Notes to answerer
Asker: Graham, if you look up the definition of cabin cruiser, you will find "A powerboat with a cabin that has living accommodations" "a power boat fitted with a cabin and comforts for pleasure cruising or racing" Although, my boat does have a berth, it certainly does not have a cabin.

Asker: For me a cabin cruiser has a cabin, and this boat doesn't. It's a powerboat and it is designed essentially for sport fishing.

I wonder if it means that the boat has a covered cabin - timonier means helmsman, and that could have been extended to the structure that protects him/her from the elements.

agree  Tony M: 'timonier' here means a 'wheelhouse', so your idea is right.
