Swedish term or phrase: satta i rekonstruktion
"Satta i" is the part I'm unsure about. Any ideas?

put in reconstruction

Explanation:

undergoing reorganisation

Explanation:
'Rekonstruktion' can mean both reconstruction and reorganisation according to my FARS economic dictionary.

For your interest, in a government context, it can also refer to a reshuffle, such as a cabinet reshuffle.

being reconstructed

Explanation:
This is not my field of expertise, but from what I can gather you can keep it simple and say that the companies "are being reconstructed" (similar to JaneD's answer). If you google "the company is being reconstructed" you get more than 2,000 hits, and can check out the context there.

disagree  Sven Petersson: "Undergoing" is a result of "satta; it's not a valid translation of "satta". - Addendum: "Declared in bankruptcy" is not a better translation, but "declared in bankruptcy for reconstruction purposes" is (differentiating it from "for liquidation purposes")

-> Companies seek temporarily protection from their creditors. The creditors often reject this process rather than pushing for it! I’m not sure why ‘declared in bankruptcy’ would be better as this is a later stage in the process!
