potence rasante

French term or phrase: potence rasante
From a lighting catalogue. There are two kinds of bracket described for use in light fittings for displays. Both can be seen at http://www.enseigneboutique.com/rampe-eclairage-enseigne-13-... (search the page for 'rasante'). NB this is not the catalogue I am translating.

One is the "potence rasante", which in the words of the catalogue "permet de positionner votre rampe au ras de la surface à éclairer" i.e. brings the light closer (flush) to the surface to be illuminated.

The second is the variation "potence rasante supérieure", which brings the light flush and higher, so as not to obscure the display.

What I need is an equivalent English term for these brackets. "Oblique", "Tangental", "Flush", "Skimming" - I've tried attaching all these to "bracket" with no success. Help!
