People don't just wax their legs these days. Body hair almost anywhere seems to have become unacceptable, on men as well as women. Waxing isn't the only way of removing it, of course.

Which gives me the opportunity to tell a Spanish joke, which is a true story. Hairdressers here in Spain (and in other countries too, I'm sure) offer hair removal, displaying a list of rates for different parts of the body. These include the groin, which is "ingles" in Spanish. The young daughter of a friend of mine saw this and said: "Look, Mummy, they're offering English lessons for 20 euros."
