What does this sentence mean? Could someone paraphrase it for me? Thanks!

I’m passionate about my role as a practitioner, so I dedicate much of the working week to client work and some of the travel obviously gets done in the evening. It’s a challenge and ***it never feels completely in sync***, but I think that continuous need to pull the two things together into a balance is quite healthy.
