English term or phrase: timeless
This is said by someone about their soulmate:

V is my only constant in life and he has been for the past 8 years. 8 years that have felt timeless. I enjoy nothing more in life than waking up and seeing his smile beaming at me.

I didn´t want to translate "timeless" as atemporal o eterno. I was thinking of using "por siempre" but it doesn´t seem to be totally right. I want a natural way to say it.

atemporal

Explanation:
The direct translation crashes the register, as "atemporal" is not an everyday word but I provide the equivalent though.

I would change the sentence and go for something like:
Sounds more natural.

durante los que el tiempo se detuvo

Explanation:
