English term or phrase: primed and fed and acceptable operators
Dear colleagues,
I am translating a contract (written by Italians) from English to Polish and I have come accross a sentence which to me looks ungrammatical and lacks meaning. Here it goes:

Taking-Over Tests:
shall be carried out on the basis of standard XXX and YYY on one single basic product/package size on 6 hours measurement during 8 hours continuous working shift, after verifying that packaging materials and utilities correspond to the specifications of the Agreement, in conditions of Plant continuously **primed and fed and acceptable operators **.

I understand the concept of a taking-over test, but I cannot grasp the meaning of the ending fragment whatsoever.

Any help appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Selected answer:working operating under full and continuous production, supervised by trained operators
Explanation:
Really this English shows signs of a few translations and is difficult to understand.
I think that the term means something like this:

"with the plant operating under full and continuous production, supervised by trained operators."

As suggested by Phong Le, this could be "operated by trained staff", rather than supervised.

agree  David Moore (X): I take it the "primed" means "with stock material continuously supplied", so either it (or the "fed") are somewhat tautological//Could well be that your interpretation is closer than mine (start-up stock)

-> Thanks, David. Yes, "stocked at start-up" is how I read primed, like priming a well.

agree  B D Finch: And I hope the operators had a good lunch too.
