Portuguese term or phrase: mil
Coming back to the one sentence that seems a bit confusing to me:

O quantitativo pretendido, seria a soma de todas as mercadorias (200Mil toneladas) ou cada produto seria um quantitativo individual.

This might be a bit silly, but at this point I'm really not sure of anything anymore. My first instinct for the "200Mil toneladas" is "200 thousand tons". However, I seem to recall a native Spanish speaker telling me that "mil" after a number often refers to "million" whereas if written "miles" it means "thousand". Is is the same in Portuguese? Or am I making things complicated even though they're actually pretty straightforward?

English translation:thousand
Explanation:
In Brazilian PT, this indicates thousands, and in translation is often convered to a number: ex. 200,000 tons. Recently I have seen that "million" is often abbreviated to "mi", or written out fully: milhões.

agree  Daniel Tavares: I agree. Million, when abbreviated, is written "mi" or followed by a period ("mil.") to prevent being taken as mil (thousand).

agree  Douglas Bissell: 200,000 tons (why use all those letters when three zeros does the trick?. Unless you want to use thousand meaning roughly.
