Thanks, that's a good tip you give. I was searching for VH and VB as "desenfumage" was easy to find in other sources, but you're righ I should have tried this one too ;-)

Well, I was actually talking about the 'désenfumage' bit — there are special terms used for that which have not been covered here.

BTW, I think the new ProZ.com term search has done away with the 3-letter minimum; it would certainly be worth trying it to see.

There's also a good workaround that has been discussed a lot in the past: instead of using the 'term search' facility, it's perfectly possible to use Google to search within KudoZ; you can select ProZ.com as the search domain, but peronsally, I don't bother, I just include + "KudoZ" in my search term, and I don't usually get too much noise.

Yes, I always search for previous questions related to similar terms. Here I think the problem might be the minimum-three-letters requirement...

Did you try a term search, Kinia? I'm pretty sure we've had a related term before here, and the earlier answer(s) would probably help you.

Hint: try searching just on the stem, like 'désenfum', and don't select 'whole words' or 'exact phrase only'; oh, and do check the box 'also search reverse language pair'!
