Si tratta di un termine per un programma di simulazione per una macchina utensile.
Immagino che si tratta della barra che è visualizzata sotto tutti i film/video ecc., e che durante la riproduzione si muove (o è una barra che cresce o è un punto che si muove lungo una barra) in modo che si vede a che punto è il completamento della riproduzione.
