English term or phrase: STOP MANAGING, START LEADING!
This is the actual title of a leadership course/training for senior leaders.
The importance here obviously is to make a clear distinction between MANAGING i.e. running things efficiently on a day-to-day basis and LEADING which is about taking the whole organization somewhere new.
Please note that this is not implying that management is wrong, but as I mentioned, this programme is aimed at senior leaders, and so at that level, day-to-day management tasks should be delegated.

Merci pour la clarification. Dans ce cas, je donne effectivement une mauvaise piste.
J'aime bien la proposition de Robintech et la manière dont il l'a formulée. À part ça, je ne vois pas d'autre solution pour le moment, je vais continuer à y réfléchir. :)

Asker: Merci beaucoup pour ta participation à cette question Tristan. Cependant, c'est surtout la mise en opposition de "Leadership" Vs "Management" que j'ai besoin de retrouver, ce qui n'est pas vraiment le cas dans ta proposition toutefois très honorable et, comme la majorité des réponses que tu proposes dans Kudoz, je trouve le style très beau et adéquatement accrocheur! Enfin, je suis d'accord avec InterloKution, un leader n'est bien entendu pas réduit à déléguer des tâches, ce n'est pas ce que j'ai voulu dire dans mes explications, alors désolée si elles n'étaient pas assez claires. Je ne donnais que des lignes directrices depuis les starting blocks avant de poster ma question! :) Encore merci!

Asker: Cheers Kévin! Not so sure about "mener" as the translation for "leading" though... Because then in the brochure and full programme, for consistency purposes I would have to call a leader "un meneur" (and so on the same token, I would have to call a manager "un gestionnaire"), which doesn't sound very corporate-like nor suitable I don't think. But nonetheless, thanks very much indeed for your contribution. I do like what you did with the whole structure of the sentence though!

agree  Daryo: un "meneur" est un leader par excellence - seul petit problème : la connotation négative. En fait pas toujours - dire d'un officer qu'il est un "vrai meneur d'hommes" est ce qu'il y a de plus positif!
