pra-versi perangkat lunak Explanation: buid pada dasarnya adalah perbaikan atau penambahan baru sedikit demi sedikit, sebelum dijadikan versi resmi secara formal nantinya. Mis. versi saat 2. Kemudian ada perbaikan kecil, akan disebut version 2 build 1, lalu ada tambahan satu fitur, version 2 build 2, dst. sehingga ketika akumulasinya sudah cukup besar, dirilislah versi baru, versi 3. Karena itu, lahirlah istilah pra-versi. Catatan: sebagian pengembang merilis build secara resmi, sebagian tidak resmi.
