Spanish term or phrase: pendiente resultado de AP
Hello.
It is specifically the "AP" that I am struggling with. It refers to the results of a FNA on a breast nodule and appears as follows in a hospital discharge report from Spain(no accents as I don't have a Spanish keyboard and I'm pressed for time:
Many thanks in advance for your help :)

pending pathology result/report
Explanation:
AP = anatomía patológica

You could use AP for "anatomical pathology" in English too, but I would personally just go for "pathology".

Many thanks to all who answered and commented. I feel silly now, it was fairly obvious, but I was in a rush to deliver and there was a bit of brain fog involved :)

Explanation:

neutral  Joseph Tein: This is close, but not exact. AP = anatomía patológica. See number 29 under AP here: http://www.tremedica.org/glosarios/siglas/SE-080425_A.html#1...
