disagree  Ralf A. Schumacher: Sry, but I'm afraid the majority of Google hits on terms in patent texts - more often than not - are literal translations by Japanese writers (probably not even translators) with a restricted command of English. So let's better stay cautious about those.

The Google hits are few, but I believe this translation would be compact and self-explanatory. [Not always, but in many cases, when the latter term (サッカー) translates into two English words ("vacuum clamps"), putting the translation for the preceding term (上昇) in between is the most-natural sounding solution.]
