minutes of (examination) board meetings Explanation: http://www.tlso.manchester.ac.uk/map/teachinglearningassessm... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 14 hrs (2012-08-24 09:11:28 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- After further research and after my husband showing me an 'acta provisional' I think 'official record of the examination results' could work perfectly. The records I saw this morning is a sheet of paper on which the name of the school, the names of the students, the subjects they took and marks they obtained are printed. There are spaces for the signatures of the tutor and the director of the school. Obviously we're not referring to secondary schools in this case but I'm sure the system must be similar. 'Detailed results by candidate will be part of the separate official record of the examination results and the student transcripts.' |

Initial records Explanation: Since it's a heading, which refers to the Drafting (Opening up) of the initial qualification records (marks/grades etc), I'd say you can more or less use whatever you find appropriate. I agree that "acta" is not "minutes" here. I'd say "actas de calificación" is what I'd "academic records" (record of academic results/outcomes/qualifications...) and take it from there. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 22 hrs (2012-08-24 17:34:10 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- In my suggestion, "the concept of "apertura" is conveyed by "Initial"; the records are the "actas". I see NO mention direct of "evaluación" (assessment) in the original, although we do understand that this it is what it refers to. "Hablando se entiende la gente." -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 day14 hrs (2012-08-25 09:31:06 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- "The PG Student Secretary's Office creates/prepares/generates/draws up, etc. the initial (qualification/academic) records..." |
