concept, style Explanation: Just a couple of solutions. I don't always translate "univers" the same way. "World" sometimes fits, but in fashion texts I find "concept" or "style" often work better. |

world Explanation: The meaning of this sentence in French completely points us towards "world" as the best possible answer, but I'm wondering if there are others. "the fashion world" for example, would very well translate to "l'univers de la mode" in French. I think world is the word you should be going for. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2012-08-14 08:45:57 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- It depends on the rest of the sentence, but a nice way to phrase this would be "This collection and its world..." or maybe even, "this collection and the world it brings..." The second one is more catchy I find. |
