  -> In techncial language, they have two quite distinct meanings, and are not interchangeable, as they might be in layman's language. I worked for years in the field of 'hardening'.
agree  Ryan_Fr2Eng (X): Since the phrase is followed by "for remote configuration" it doubtful that they are referring to cable, but rather security, as in "closed circuit" and opposed to wireless.
